So, I've been noticing that my posts have been slowly getting shorter and shorter. I hate making unflattering revelations about myself. Like those moments when I suddenly feel that I've been writing my thesis on the single most sleep-inducing subject in the world. Then I remember that there are Econ majors. I tend to breathe a sigh of relief then.
I've also been noticing that I've been resenting the weather. The seasons are simply refusing to change in this godforesaken Scenic Hudson Valley! It is October, the stores are filled with Halloween and Thanksgiving decorations (you know they're just aching to put out the Christmas stuff). But what kind of weather do we have? Yup, balmy and 75, thank you very much. Did I mention the 92% humidity. Yeah, someone up there is trying to screw me out of my seasons, dammit!
Dear God,
I want my brisk windy Fall and please throw in some snow in early December. I want some of the white stuff before I return to the land of the Anti-Season (a.k.a. NorCal).
